Fresh Herbs
Whenever possible, use fresh chopped herbs when making hearty meat stews. The wonderful flavors from the fresh herbs will premeate the rest of the stew ingredients.

Stew Cooking Tips
Cooking Wines
Avoid “cooking wines” sold in stores. They are poor tasting. Choose a wine that you would enjoy drinking, if not too expensive.
